NEWS: Sen. Schiff Joins Sens. Graham, Whitehouse, Colleagues on Congressional Delegation to Munich Security Conference

Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senator Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) will join Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) on a bipartisan, bicameral congressional delegation to this weekend’s Munich Security Conference (MSC).

The MSC is widely considered the world’s leading forum for international security policy. The conference is a “marketplace of ideas” where initiatives and solutions are developed, and opinions are exchanged. It also provides a venue for diplomatic initiatives and ideas to cooperatively address the world’s most pressing security concerns.

“Our alliances and partnerships around the world are critical to U.S. national security and represent a crucial advantage over our adversaries. I am joining my colleagues in Munich to underscore the importance of those relationships and the need for continued American global leadership,” said Senator Schiff. “It is an honor to join Senators Graham, Whitehouse, and other colleagues on this trip, as we all seek to carry on Senator McCain’s legacy of bipartisan commitment to strengthening our national security through global engagement.”

In addition to Schiff, Graham, and Whitehouse, other congressional participants include:
