San Luis Obispo, CA — In case you missed it, U.S. Senator Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and Representative Salud Carbajal (D-Calif.-24) hosted a town hall at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo which drew a crowd of nearly 2,000 attendees. During the town hall, the lawmakers heard constituents’ concerns regarding health care, tariffs, the environment, Trump’s attacks on our democracy, and more. Both Schiff and Carbajal discussed the work they are doing in Congress on behalf of Californians and to push back on the Trump administration.
The visit was one of numerous stops Schiff has made across California. Last week, Schiff was in Northern California where he toured the Shasta Dam with Republican Congressman Doug LaMalfa (R-Calif.-01). Schiff also spoke with Chico State University students and toured the University’s farm where students put to practice the concepts they learn in the classroom. He also visited the Butte County Farm Bureau for a farm tour and a discussion.
