As a member of the Senate Committee on the Judiciary, Senator Schiff is committed to protecting our democracy, rights and freedoms, enacting criminal justice reform, addressing crime and public safety concerns, attacking fentanyl, and reforming our broken immigration system. As Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Intellectual Property, Senator Schiff is advocating for intellectual property rights relating to patent, copyright, AI, and trademark issues.

Senator Schiff has long understood the necessity of preserving and protecting California’s , and pro. As a member of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, Senator Schiff is committed to enacting legislation that will improve our state’s air quality, strengthen environmental protections, address water pollution, solid waste and recycling, and fisheries and wildlife. As Ranking Member on the Subcommittee on Fisheries, Water, and Wildlife, and as a member of the Subcommittee on Transportation and Infrastructure, Senator Schiff holds a key position to help deliver critical water and transportation infrastructure to Californians.

California is an agricultural powerhouse. As the first U.S. Senator from California to sit on the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry in over thirty years, Senator Schiff is working to support California’s critical agriculture industry. Senator Schiff is dedicated to enacting policies that support California’s farmers and farmworkers, and that bolster our state’s food security programs and agricultural production.

Committee On

Senator Schiff knows small businesses are the lifeblood of California’s economy. As a member of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, he is dedicated to ensuring our small businesses and smallbusiness owners have access to affordable lending and capital access programs and receive critical support in the aftermath of natural disasters. Protecting small businesses and small business owners also requires oversight of the Small Business Administration and its programs, to ensure small businesses and small business owners are protected from fraud.
