Senator Schiff has made the rounds across new media platforms – participating in numerous YouTube interviews with MeidasTouch, Brian Tyler Cohen, David Pakman, Keith Edwards, Vlogbrothers, and others. Schiff also appeared for interviews with Aaron Parnas, Keith Edwards, The Borowitz Report, and MeidasTouch’s respective Substack pages, and completed Instagram collaborations with Olivia Julianna, Jolly Good Ginger, Mrs. Frazzled, Elizabeth Booker Houston, Aaron Parnas, Violet Witchell, VegNews, MeidasTouch, Courier News, and others.
Those appearances generated tens of millions of views. By incorporating new media influencers into his overall media strategy, the Senator has been able to communicate to broader audiences across different languages. The Senator’s approach to reaching people where they are is through different types of content channels. Tapping into communities, of all ages and interests, is key to ensuring more people feel represented across the political spectrum and can be a part of the conversation.

Per publicly-available data from the Center for American Progress, from January 3 – April 14th, Schiff’s accounts were the highest performing of any Democratic Senator on X, YouTube, Instagram, Substack, and Bluesky. Additionally, Schiff was the second-best performing Senator on Threads.
In that time period, Schiff led Democratic Senators in both total impressions and total post engagements, of which he garnered more than the bottom 32 Democratic Senators combined. On YouTube, Schiff generated 36 million views and over 2 million engagements, by far most of any Democratic Senator. Schiff also become the most-followed Senator on Substack and the top-performing Democratic Senator on Bluesky and X, generating 6.5 million engagements on X and 2.3 million interactions on Facebook.
